How to apply for accommodation
All applicants have to apply at the Sønderborg Accommodation Office (Kollegiernes Kontor) directly. The Accommodation Office will receive the names of all Exchange-, Guest- and fee paying students (or students who receive a scholarship) from the International Office at the University of Southern Denmark.

From 16m². The rooms have separate shower and lavatory as well as freezer/refrigerator. Some have a shared kitchen with a locker for each room. (18 rooms for each kitchen) others have a separate kitchen.
If you need a furnished room, please note that on the application form since not all rooms are furnished. If furnished, there will be a desk, a couch that can be converted into a bed, and a closet/wardrobe. Lamps, curtains and a small table are also included. All accommodations are linked to an aerial association with more than 40 TV channels.
A telephone- and data network including internet connection, with a calling time/ on-time free of charge, has been installed in all accommodations. The net is linked to the other halls of accommodations and the office.
The students can rent an Equipment package, which includes linen and kitchenware. The Equipment Package consists of 1 quilt, 1 pillow, 1 thin top mattress, 2 sets of linen with sheets, 2 big towels, 1 small towel, 1 dish towel, 1 dustbin, 2 mugs, 2 tumblers, 1 knife, 1 fork, 1 spoon,1 tea spoon,1 plate,1 soup plate, 1 adjustable desk lamp,1 frying pan,1 casserole To rent the Equipment package, you have to apply on a separate form. You can get this form at the Accommodation Office. You will be charged a fee per semester (around DKK 450,00 per semester, which will be added to your rent, when you arrive).
