Campus Esbjerg

The city of Esbjerg is home to some 80,000 inhabitants and is characterised by its shipping, oil and offshore industry and ambitious renewable energy projects.

There are some 1,100 students and 120 staff at SDU Esbjerg, and the university works closely with the local business community.

Open doors and easy access to help

We try very hard to ensure our students have a positive experience studying at the Esbjerg campus.

We stay in close contact with each and every student, and the university teachers generally strive to be easy to get a hold of.

Students quickly learn to let their teachers know directly if they have any issues or problems, either by asking questions in class, dropping by their office or sending an e-mail.

Great working conditions

We have well-designed and bright buildings with lots of meeting rooms available for our students to work in - alone or in groups.

Our library has semester shelves where you can find relevant literature for your studies. You can also access the university’s many digital services from the library computers.

Become part of a community

There are plenty of social opportunities to be had with other students at SDU Esbjerg.

The Beach Bar is where students go to hang out on Thursdays to relax with a drink.

During the weekdays, students from all the campus’ fields of study meet and socialise in the canteen, which operated jointly with Aalborg University, located just across the street. On most days, the canteen offers both hot and cold dishes as well as sandwiches, bread and fruit at student-friendly prices.
